The ThreadLift facelift can take as little as 30 minutes for each area being treated and is recommended for patients between the ages of 30 and 60.

Physicians insert very small polypropylene threads - the type used by surgeons for over 50 years - under the skin with a specially designed needle used only for this procedure. Fine cogs have been added to the shafts of the threads. As the threads are inserted under drooping areas, they catch in the flesh and are gently tugged upwards to lift the skin.
